How is so much known about dinosaurs?

The reason is because palaeontologists, using various scientific techniques, spend a great deal of time studying the bones of these ancient creatures, to find out what they were like, how they lived, how they breathed, ate, interacted with one another, even how they died. Such studies provide knowledge of what happened in the world before humans arrived so very recently.
